i've got an interview lined up tmr. which i am quite excited about. i'm praying hard i get shortlisted cuz being able to speak excellent chinese is one of the criteria that i'm afraid i might not be able to pull off. but wish me luck everyone! i got to brush my teeth real well today so that my smile will be the nicest and prettiest tmr.

i have to wake up at 8... so i'm definitely sleeping soon. figure i shall wear my new vest tmr! hehe. yay. tt's if i have a tank to wear on the inside... hmm. i should have it la. haha. then after tt, i'll prob head down to marina square to buy tt volcom cap for tins! (gosh.. i sound so happy) the volcom cap is really nice. well, at least to me. haha.

and i made the most progress today.. on my tony hawk project 8 career. finally completed enough goals to unlocked the new area 'slums'. did a demo, won the attention of a crowd. and won a vert-style competition. hurray!

okie. time to go zzz now.

this is really NOT like me at all. cuz i've noticed the past few days that by 9 o clock at night, i'm clutching onto my handphone, with my ass parked in front of the tv, my other hand holding on to the remote control as i flicker from one channel to the next. the tv volume is lower... just waiting for the sounds of sugar ray to interrupt my silent thoughts. and even though we only talk for like around 10 min each night... it's probably smt i need to get by my day.. or, in this case, night.

days are fine.. if i'm preoccupied. but terribly slow when i've nothing to do. i remember i spent wednesday sleeping. literally, sleeping. i woke up. had lunch. napped. woke up. tea time. tv time. dinner. slept. i'm just praying hard it wouldn't be like this for the rest of the days...

i totally need a full-time temp job. i figure i should probably sign up for some classes too. maybe cooking? language? and this is probably the millionth time i've said it, but i need to start exercising again.

i NEED to get my mind occupied with informative KNOWLEDGE... instead of bumming around.. not using my head. feeling so nostalgic all the time.

and now i need to figure out how to spend my awfully free saturday away.. window shopping? hmm. going to the library? haha. nahhh. i'll probably go window shopping. gosh i'm bored. or maybe i should just stay home.. watch dvds all day long. tt'll definitely tire me out as well. it's a headache to think of ways to preoccupy myself!! can't believe i didn't have this problem last time. i'm guessing it's cuz... tins is not around anymore! : ( i'm so bummed.


anyway, i caught dominic today. and i got to say.. kiera knightley is super sexy. not tt she has the body; or boobs in particular, but mann.. she's really sexy. at least in tt movie. and she totally rocks with short, and i mean SHORT, dirty blonde hair. haha.

went to eileen's house today. her parents watched ching, claud, her and i make a fool out of ourselves in the kitchen. haha. but it was fun! thanks for being a great host eileen! : )

oh. and i removed the stitches from my gums already. i think i complained too much to dr wee about the swelling tt he gave me complimentary anti-swelling medicine and a bottle of mouthwash. ahaha. he's nice.. hehe. he asked if i wanted to remove my other tooth today.. and my answer was..

'NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! i dun wanna look fat during cny!' *eyes opened WIDE*

he said. i'm prone to swelling cuz my cheeks are puffier than normal. what's tt supposed to mean. tt i'm a fat face? hahaha. damn it. even my dentist agrees that i have a fat face.

haha. and my supposedly 'good' girlfriends instigated me to eat meat today. they encouraged me to sin. hahaa. i better fast tmr. : ( okie then. time to zzz.

ok. tins is already off to army and i can just predict how empty my schedule would be from now on. haha.

anyway, eileen and ida told me not to worry cuz i still have them around! which is indeed very very comforting and i'm looking forward to going out more often with them.. despite them having such hectic working lives.

tuitioning tmr. and it's english. so wish me luck everybody! : ) i got to deal with someone who has difficulty rephrasing sentences. hmm. bye bye.

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE...

the new year started off great cuz on the very first day of the year i was offered two tuition jobs. one from my aunty to teach my cousin still in primary school and the other from alice (from the agency) to teach this sec 4 girl down at king's mansion. i had to turn the latter down though cuz i think i'll not be able to cope. : (

haha. but all in all. the year started out wonderful!

ida, kenny and pq are coming over tmr to lay their hands on the play station 3. it's unfortunate the wii isn't working. haha.

and i'm so glad claudyne is back!!

i've got a dinner to go to later.. with tinsley's cell group friends.. and it's going to be 9 days till he disappears into camp and his head gets shaven off. hahah.

so the new year is here and it's time to set some resolutions... but actually keeping up to these resolutions would be somewhat of a miracle. cuz i remember the only resolution i set last year was to lose weight. just one simple resolution such as that and i couldn't keep to it.

anyway. i'm hoping this year i would be...

1) more tolerant (although i already am quite tolerant) and more forgiving

2) keep to my commitments. esp those tuition students i dedicated myself to.

3) save at least a thousand bucks this year..

4) go on a holiday with friends even though most of them took up long term 9-5 jobs. -.-

5) keep in contact with friends...

6) spend more time with family. esp with grandma.

7) start a whole new exercising regime.

8) adopt a more determined approach to life.

haha. okie. tt's about it. : )

ok... i noe the pictures are like long overdue.

and lastly.. a family pic taken at 'lotus', a restaurant near the sheraton laguna(where we stayed), that serves excellent phad thai. and i really mean, the BEST phad thai around. yum.

i had tennis farewell yesterday. the juniors brought us to cafe iguana, which was situated right next to brewerkz. the food there was de-li-cious. i had fajitas. : ) and although they were famous for their tequilas and magaritas.. i didn't have any! *beams* i met up with ida first and we headed down to central to check the mall out. (or rather, for me to check it out since ida has checked it out a LONG TIME AGO. like.. ok. fine. so i'm slow.. i get it.) ida's right. the shops there are super ulu and the worse part is.. it was extremely messy. haha. anyway, after wandering around the mall for close to 1 hour, we decided to sit down at o brien's and have smt to drink and just gossip through the remaining hours till we had to meet up with the rest of the team.

gossip sessions are always fun.. and who else to talk about love and relationships other than ida. hahaha. well, at least it's the only topic i seem to engage with her the most.. since she's ultra prone to spacing out when certain conversation topics dun interest her.

haha. oh. and tins is ultra jealous of me right now... cuz i did reverse bungee before him! hahaha. g-max is ultra cool. and i'm so happy i went with ida! hahaha. 7 of us, namely, faye, ernest, sophia, zhiwei, pin quan, ida and i decided to give reverse bungee a try after dinner since we had nothing to do and the though of being shot up into the sky is too exciting and enticing to resist. haha.

haha. you can read ida's blog for details. but all in all, reverse bungee should definitely be added on the list of things to do before you die.

the g-max guy that strapped ida and i in asked me if my boyfriend was among the crowd of ppl we came with. -the tennis team of cuz- and i said errr. no. then he said that i should reverse bungee with my boyfriend.
-.- haha. i guess i would la.. next time i go for it. hahah. and i'll definitely make him treat me cuz 30 bucks for 30 seconds of fun is not all that reasonably priced for a second experience.

oh. and conclusion of the day is: the lighter the ppl on board, the more rotations you'll experience. hahaha. : )

haha. and pa's new lcd tv and ps3 came in today! hurray!! : ) all the more a reason to stay home, slouch in front of the tv the WHOLE DAY and get fatter! hehehee. too bad the wii is not working.. lol.

i just found out from ida that kenny and pq would probably wanna go to my house on fri instead of going out to watch a movie so they can try out the ps3.hehe. this is exciting.

went out with tinsley today. finally watched the golden compass. haha. it was alright la.. i expected more from it.

hanabi lunch was great though! i ate 7 servings of sashimi and i'm feeling utterly contented. hahaha.

i'm lazy to upload pics. but i promise i'll add some soon in my next post!


-i've got alot of things on my mind. but someone told me that prayer would probably make it all alright, no matter how cliche-ed that sounds. if only she knew what was happening around her. then maybe things would not have reached this point of no return.-

			haha. i'm finally home

i just got back this afternoon.

after being away for almost 2 weeks, i realised i forgot how comfortable 'home' is. the plasma television in my living room that i previously thought was old fashioned was so advanced as compared to the television set in phuket.. and it looked huge in comparison to the plasma tv in malacca. hahaa. and the sofa was immaculately soft and it's amazing how relaxed it made me feel when i slumped down on it... AND MY ROOM. nothing can be compared to my bed. it's got to be the most comfortable mattress ever. memory foam. i used to think waterbeds were cool. now i think memory foam mattresses are out of this world. they have got to be the best invention ever made in the mattress industry. : )

i missed home. haha.

i'm going to upload the pics i took in phuket soon. but i need time to brighten and sharpen the images on picasa. sooo.. it's got to be in another post. besides, i've got to rush out the xmas cards before 25th dec... and, i'm way behind schedule for buying presents for the extended family and close friends. mann.... loads to do. very very little time. haha. and still i managed to find time to watch a movie with tins tmr... which, i'm actually pretty excited about since the last movie i watched was... hitman. haha.

i missed everyone so much since i was gone. oh well. outings soon!! maybe a post xmas cum new year party at my place for the class.. *grins* i'm still in the midst of settling down actually. time's the deciding factor... and not to mention the folks.. which i'll need to convince before the idea of a 'party' can take place.

i'll also need to go for banqueting interview with ida. contact my tuition teacher for her agent so i can teach tuition as well. speaking of ida. if you're reading this... you were dearly missed!!! i still owe you your presents so when do you wanna shop babe? and i noe kwannie's gone already. not to worry kwann! ida and i will come visit you in aussie real soon--hence the need for a job that pays well so we've got enough money to fly across the pacific ocean(i think). hahaha.

and i could tell from claud's blog that she's extremely bored. and eileen is probably bored as well. haha. wondering why she's not online now.. oh well. guess i'll catch up with her tonight.

			chalet!

i realised my last post was almost 2 weeks ago.. so it's time for a new one!

i just came back from the much awaited class chalet. i've got to admit that the aranda club chalet is one of the most comfortable chalets i've been to. though the price was a little steep, it was well worth it.

we didn't have much planned out for the chalet but it turned out better than expected. the guys were as silly as they can be. the girls never seem to have nothing to talk about. *grins* sleep was in deficit. and it was definitely bridge and mahjong galoree. haha.

bbq was great cuz all the girls did was sit down and talk while the guys carried the food, started the fire, cooked the food, re-cooked the food (cuz the chicken wings were still bloody), bascially doing all the hard work while the girls rested. haha. food was delicious! : ) mr wong decided to join us too and it wasn't surprising how he added much fun to the whole night.

we went back the chalet and played blackjack. jie ying's luck was unbelievably good. she won loads of money. hahah. then again, almost all of us won cash, except a very unfortunate one who still owes me 10 bucks. later, i buckled on my blades and claud borrowed wee chuan's bike and both of us headed out to get some stuff from claud's sister's house and some stuff from my place. came back tired.. but not tired enough to fall asleep through the noise the guys were making. haha.

anyway, jieying, byron and i were the only 3 who lasted the night and the following morning. the rest slept at least a few minutes. haha.

the chalet was fun. : ) and i hope those who went to prom had a blast, though i heard bad comments about the food they served. :X

going off to phuket soon and won't be back till 5 days later where i'm off to malaysia and won't be back till the 20th. so.. this blog would once again be stagnant. figured my next post would be pre-xmas! hahaha. my fav holiday of the year.. going to get my tan back!

this has been a tiring week and i have a whole day planned out tmr again. lol.

life after the a's cannot get any better than this. : )

i've been going out almost everyday since hols have started and i've barely had time to just laze around the house to catch my breath. supposed to go out to highlight my hair today but i didn't wake up in time..

anyway, went out with kwannie and ida a few days back.. and kwannie got ida and i perfume. (expensive perfume, i must add) haha.

it's been ages since i last saw kwannie so catching up was heaps of fun.

and this was dessert. the custard was absolutely delicious. ida wanted the banana and caramel one but.. i think the custard was an excellent choice. hehe



we also walked around vivo and took a couple of pictures here and there. : )
it was all great, awesome fun. hehe

i went to the zoo with tins yesterday. hah. had to end the trip earlier since it started to rain. i didn't get to see the polar bear i wanted to see so badly. : (



but at least i still saw the elephants... and they were sooo cute. tins didn't understand my fascination over elephants. i'm just so amazed at how the elephants work and interact with each other. they are such gentle creatures. i'm so glad we caught their 'elephants at work and play' show. hahaha
